Boise State Football

Growing up in Boise it is hard not to have a little bit of a love for Boise State especially since they have really improved over the last couple of years. Last night was their first game of the season and they did great 49-7 against ISU! They had just put down new turf and they built in some box seats and we filled the stadium to a new capacity, 32.000 people!
We went with a group of people from single wards around the area in effort to raise money for someone in the area with cancer. As part of this fund raiser, we got free tickets to see the game and then we would help pick up trash afterwards. It took FOREVER!!! and in the beginning I'll admit I was getting annoyed with some of the volunte4ers who couldn't seem to follow directions, but towards the end, it was a blast. I just have to realize that i can't control everything! :) After picking up all that trash, I have decided that I will NEVER leave anything for someone else to pick up at one of those games., not that I ever really have. But this is the question that I have, when did it ever become ok, when did it become the norm that people can leave their trash? Have we really become that lazy that we can't take the nacho plate out with us and slip it in a trash can (they are placed approximately every 10 or 15 feet). On our way out we decided to take our picture at the 50 yrd line... It was kinda fun to be on the "Smurf Turf" and we finally made it home by 1:00 or so!
