After living in Boise the majority of my life... I made it to the horse races! Being ladies night we decided why not take advantage of the last week of races especially when we get in for FREE :) We had a blast and even did a little betting... ok so not really bet at the races just against each other and the winner... drum roll please.... was me :) I won a cute little stick horse (pictured bellow)
It was really fun to watch the horse race and to see the excitement of the last few seconds. I really enjoyed the 20 min wait time because I love people watching, watching the little boys behind us with their grandpa or the a middle aged granddaughter help her Grandma bet and then hear them talk about the 2 bucks they won. I even enjoyed watching a few drunk men try to communicate with another woman. Can't beat that! After the races we headed to this cute little drive in burger place downtown and ordered shakes and Ice cream potatoes.
